MELIA WHITE HOUSE HOTEL
DETAILS
CLIENT: MELIA HOTELS
SIZE (SQ FT): TBC
PROGRAMME PERIOD: 44 WEEKS
VALUE: P1: £1,210,000 P2: £1,260,000
DESCRIPTION
The project involved the phased window replacement of just over 1,000 windows for the Melia WH hotel near Great Portland Street. The hotel was live at all times and access was provided to certain restrictive areas via either scaffolding or roof based cradles. The project's success was dependant on the close communication with the hotel management team, agreeing a schedule of room releases to ensure a consistent flow of works to ensure scaffold / cradles were being utilised most economically. Close co-ordination between our main window supplier, our site team, the hotel staff and management ensured a smooth and trouble free installation (as well as maximising the hotel’s potential to fill their rooms).

OUR WORK ETHIC
We thoroughly believe that each project is a joint venture, we are only as capable as the sum of our parts (from design teams through to our management team and supply chain). The best way to ensure we are all able to achieve our collective goals is to work collectively, collaboratively, part of a team. This team ethic has ensured we are able to build up a client-base, a consultant-base, a subcontractor-base and a supplier-base that understands, and shares, our working principles.
